Our first Redbirds game of the season.
Owen's very first baseball game.
Matt says "one of many more"
We went to the game with friends and youth from church.
While we were there, we saw cousin Josh and Cecily.
They were having a "date" to give mom a rest with new baby sister Eloise at home.
My friend Lindsay, bottom right, had her baby girl at the beginning of May.
We joked that it was their 2nd date.
6.5.12
Lunch and Paint a Piece date with my girl Carsyn.
She and her family moved to hot lanta in the middle of June.
We had been meeting up for almost a year to hang out, pray together, and study the book of Philippians.
We were all so sad to lose such a sweet family in our church.
We've said it many time but it is oh so true.
Our loss was Atlanta's gain.
6.12.12
Owen's first Zoo trip!
I'm not sure he was really aware of where we were at but he
certainly loved being outside and with the other kiddos from church.
6.14.12
Owen and Eloise "officially" meet
Sweet cousins barely 3 months apart

South Wood's DNOW weekend
Owen and I got to spend the weekend with some pretty awesome girls.
It was a great time of fellowship and diving into Tim Keller's book The Gospel in Life, learning what God's word has to say about our hearts and the idols that make their home there. It was a great introduction. The youth have since been working their way through Keller's book on Wednesday evenings.
6.16.12
After DNOW we hopped in the car and made our way to Sparta to spend a few days.
Our first stop was Matt's parents house on Saturday evening.
The boys played football, we had yummy steaks, and Owen played on his
quilt Grandmama hand quilted for him.

Father's Day!
We headed to Gum Springs Sunday morning to worship in our home church.
It was wonderful to see people we haven't had the chance to see in awhile. It was sweet for Owen to meet everyone as well. How fun for Owen to finally be in the place I grew up!

After a lovely Sunday spent with Matt's family, we headed to Ragland Bottom on Monday to spend some time with my family. My parents were camping for the week and it worked out perfectly for when we were going to be home. I was so glad we got to spend a few days on the lake with them.
Everyone was thrilled to spend a little time with O.
Gran and Pops even bought Owen his first camping chair. So Cute.
We left Owen with Gran at the camper and all the big kids went out on the lake.
Matt and Justin tubed and Annie took her first swim in the lake!
That evening my Mawma came over for dinner.
She had yet to meet Owen so it was fun to introduce Owen to my precious Mawma.
Uncle Justin always loves a little Owen time. It is rare these days!
Dad and Mom fixed us a yummy catfish dinner and we celebrated Father's Day with him a day late.
It was such a great time. Aunt Brenda even came to join us and meet Owen.
Catfish dinner with your daddy by the lake. Nothing much better than that.
I am thankful for 24 wonderful years of being his daughter!
Love you Pops!

Another day on the lake.
Matt and I went out on the water with Dad to set some limb lines.
We had a great time catching bait fish for Dad. I bet we caught 12-15 little fish.
Bottom Right: Matt feel off the boat trying to fetch a limb line. Luckily he is graceful and jumped onto the ledge instead of in the water. Although, the next day he wasn't so lucky. Ask his phone. Who spent the next 3 days in a bag of rice....to no avail.
After a fun day on the water, we had dinner with friends and family.
Lauren and Granny got a little more Owen time.
This kid loves being outside.
Looks like this momma is going to have to learn to love it a little more too.
